Reckon you could cut it in the SAS, the most feared elite fighting force in the world? Of course not - it wouldn't be elite or feared if it let people like us in. But with this experience you can try out some of the fun stuff that these rock-hard soldiers get up to, without having to do any of the scary bits. First off you'll be met by SAS-style troopers, and you and the rest of the group will be divided into training teams. Each team will then undergo training sessions run by qualified instructors on some of the following: live firing combat school, close quarter battle school using M15 assault rifles, 81mm mortar range, live grenade range, live minefield infiltration range, pistol skills close protection, survival skills, camouflage and concealment or unarmed combat. Your instructors are all ex-army/special forces, and the equipment includes airsoft training weapons. A tasty buffet lunch with vegetarian options is also included.

Leave the mod-cons at home and rediscover your survival instincts with a weekend in the wild. Say hello to your fellow survivors as you sort out equipment preparation and get some initial instruction. You'll then set off together across a 500 acre site on an awareness walk using a map and compass, with training in all sorts of survival techniques - learn about edible plants, survival medicine, firelighting, skinning food (oh yes, this is proper survival), food preparation, collecting water and navigation. You'll build your own shelter - make it a good one, you'll be spending the night in it - before preparing your meal and cooking it over an open fire. Your experience begins with a welcome and introduction to the Western Paint horses, Boston, Gypsy and friends. You'll meet your own trusty steed, saddle up and head off for a one hour riding lesson in the Western Riding Arena - western style. It's easier to learn and feels more secure than riding English-style, so it's great even for beginners. Next you'll be shown how to try your luck at lassoing the cow-horns, the finally it's time for a well-earned feast of ranch burger and beans. You'll also get certificates to take home to show everyone that you're official Junior Cowboys.
